Fly N Tell Tops Speedhorse Futurity Qualifiers

The Coronado Cartel filly leads the way into the July 28, $85,000-added final.

Fly N Tell recorded the fastest qualifying time to the July 28 Speedhorse Futurity at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.

Fly N Tell, a homebred Coronado Cartel filly owned and trained by Robert Esqueda, is the fastest qualifier to the July 28, $85,000-added Speedhorse Futurity (G3) at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.

On Friday, Fly N Tell won the 10th of 12 350-yard trials by a neck from second-fastest qualifier The Churchwellcartel in :17.833. Daniel Torres rode the Oklahoma-bred filly.

Fly N Tell has won three of seven starts, all in Oklahoma, and has banked $49,432. The filly ended her Remington Park spring season with a one-length victory at odds of 39-1 in the 350-yard, $50,000 Easy Jet Stakes (R) for state-bred juveniles on June 2.

Fly N Tell is out of Strawfly Sister, a winning and multiple graded stakes placed 14-year-old daughter of Strawfly Special.
