Jose Estrada Quarter Horses' Eysa Jess Jumpn on Saturday won the ninth of 14 Lee Berwick Futurity (RG1) trials for Louisiana-breds at Delta Downs, posting the fastest qualifying time to the July 7, $700,000 final.

Ridden by Guadalupe Lucio Jr., Eysa Jess Jumpn covered 350 yards in :17.288. The brown daughter of Heza Fast Dash earned a 101 speed index and her second win in four starts.

Eysa Jess Jumpn was bred by D & S Racing LLC and is out of the winning Mr Jess Perry mare Jess Jumpn. The filly's second dam, the Eyesa Special mare Eyesa Jumpn, won three graded stakes from 2007-08, including the '07 Harrah's Entertainment Futurity (G2) at Louisiana Downs.

An $11,000 buy at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale, Eysa Jess Jumpn has banked $22,800.
