Curls Happy Wagon is the fastest qualifier to the March 24, $218,000 Oklahoma Derby (G3) at Remington Park.

On Sunday, Curls Happy Wagon won the second of five 350-yard trials by one length from second-fastest qualifier PYC Fun N Fancy. Ridden by Jorge Torres, the daughter of PYC Paint Your Wagon stopped the timer in :17.107 while earning her third victory in three outs.

Stacy Charette-Hill prepped the homebred filly for owners Michael A. Pohl and Martin Stacy.

Curls Happy Wagon was making her first start since October 12, when she won a first-level allowance race at Prairie Meadows. The filly has banked $19,239, and she is out of Eye A Spit Curl Girl, a homebred multiple graded stakes winning mare by Spit Curl Jess.

Other prominent qualifiers include La Vencedora. An Oklahoma-bred filly by Ivory James, La Vencedora won last year's Remington Park Futurity (RG2). Amanda Tongay trains the filly for owner Good Memories LLC.
