Hez Our Secret, a gelded son of Hez Our Secret campaigned by Jose Guzman of Dallas, is the fastest qualifier to the June 2, $373,790 Heritage Place Derby (G2) at Remington Park.

Racing in the sixth of eight 400-yard trials on Sunday, Hez Our Secret defeated sixth-fastest qualifier Doing What I Like by 1 1/4 lengths in :19.746. James Flores rode the gelding for trainer Amanda Tongay.

Hez Our Secret was bred in Texas by Weetona Stanley of Madill, Oklahoma. The gelding has won three of nine starts and has banked $37,726, and his resume includes a second-place finish in last year's John Deere Will Rogers Juvenile Challenge Stakes at Will Rogers Downs.

Other prominent finalists include Remington Park Derby (RG3) winner DF AJ Green Leaves. Of the 10 finalists, only one -- seventh-fastest qualifier Goldline -- was supplemented the trials for $12,500.
