Dees Jetting Diva won Saturday's Old South Futurity at Delta Downs.

Sent to post at odds of 24-1, Whitetail Weld LLC's Dees Jetting Diva led at every call to win Saturday's $112,305 Old South Futurity at Delta Downs.

Dees Jetting Diva covered 330 yards in :16.549, and her winning margin was a neck from 39-1 longshot Jessies Wicked One. Raul Ramirez Jr. rode the homebred daughter of Jet Black Patriot for trainer Roberto Madrigal.

Dees Jetting Diva was bred in Texas. The filly is out of La Boreal, an unraced 8-year-old daughter of Ivory James. Her second dam, the Special Leader mare Leaving Diva, won the 2000 Manor Downs Lassie Futurity (G3) in Texas.

Dees Jetting Diva has won both of her outs, and the winner's share of the Old South Futurity purse bumped her bankroll to $59,753.

Mia Jet In finished third, one length from Dees Jetting Diva, and was followed by Shapeshifter, fastest qualifier and 3-5 favorite Parti Wagon, Mr Coronado Cash, Senor Sueno, Heza Jess, and No Jess Code. Meyhem Like Me was scratched.
