Sent to post at odds of 28-1, Dale Rogers' Im For Real responded with a maiden-breaking victory in Friday's $283,715 Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity (RG2) for state-bred 2-year-old fillies at Delta Downs.

Im For Real covered 330 yards in :16.571 for a 101 speed index, and the filly's winning margin was a neck from 19-10 favorite Rogue One. Guadalupe Lucio Jr. rode the homebred gray daughter of Whathaveigottado for trainer Josue Huitron.

Im For Real is out of Imnotplaying, a winning 12-year-old daughter of the Dash For Cash stallion Dash Plays On. Her second dam, the First Place Dash mare First Place Princess, won the 2002 AQHA East Distaff Challenge Stakes (G3) at Delta Downs.

Raced exclusively in Louisiana, Im For Real has won one of four starts and has banked $145,921.

The Mighty Moose, Five Bell Cartel, Logans Fast Dasher, Amending The Bar, Flamin Hot Fortune, MPS Triple Zazoom, TM Fast Prize Doll, and Brexit completed the order of finish.
