Rock About It, a 4-year-old Rock Solid Jess gelding owned by Rockin J Running Horses of Gatesville, Texas, broke Remington Park's 550-yard track record in a $26,100 non-winners-of-two-in-2018 allowance race on Sunday.

Ridden by Benito Baca for trainer Tammy Kay Johnson and aided by a reported 5-mph tail wind, Rock About It made the distance in :26.258 on a track officially labeled "good." The previous mark of :26.346 was set by Docs Dusty Okie on May 13, 2011.

Rock About It was bred by Sarah Donaldson Rioux of Deming, New Mexico. The gelding has won two of his three outs during the current Remington Park meet, including the 550-yard, $50,000 SLM Big Daddy Stakes (G3) on March 17.
