Mamacita Cartel defeated a field of New Mexico-breds to win Friday's Jimmy Drake Stakes at SunRay Park.

Mamacita Cartel, a homebred 4-year-old daughter of Big Daddy Cartel campaigned by David Bloomer, extended her win streak to three races with a neck victory in Friday's 400-yard, $39,200 Jimmy Drake Stakes (RG3) for New Mexico-breds at SunRay Park.

Ridden by Edgar Martinez, Mamacita Cartel defeated Dungarees Version by a neck in :19.856. Cynthia Gonzalez prepped the bay mare.

Mamacita Cartel was coming off of a Sunland Park meet during which she won both of her outs. Raced exclusively in New Mexico, she has won four of 11 races, and the $24,000 winner's share of the purse from her first stakes score pushed the mare's bankroll to $89,937, of which $59,820 has been earned this season.

Moon River finished third, a nose behind Dungarees Version, and was followed by Princess Jessie Jane, Comin To Your Town, Daddys Masurati, Laynis Diamond, and Go Daddy Gone.
