Tres My Heart, a daughter of the Corona Cartel stallion Heart Of The Cartel, is the fastest qualifier to the October 27, $100,000 QHRAI Derby at Indiana Grand.

Racing in the first of two trials on Saturday, Tres My Heart covered 400 yards in :19.923 while defeating second-fastest qualifier Flight To La Jolla by a nose. Hector Sanchez trained and Giovani Vazquez-Gomez rode the filly for owner Jose Plascencia.

Tres My Heart was bred in Oklahoma by Canadian River QH LLC. A $5,500 purchase at the 2016 Heritage Place Yearling Sale, she has won three of four races, including the July 7 Indiana Grand QHRAI Derby, and she has earned $51,923.

Tres My Heart was unraced at 2.
