Eight 350-yard Oklahoma Horsemen's Association Mystery Futurity were contested at Will Rogers Downs on Sunday.

The field has been set for the November 10, $216,812 Oklahoma Horsemen's Association Mystery Futurity (RG3) for state-bred juveniles at Will Rogers Downs, and Julio Contreras' VF Jedi Returns is the fastest qualifier.

Racing in the fourth of eight 350-yard trials on Sunday, VF Jedi Returns defeated non-qualifier Saratoga Return by 1 3/4 lengths in :17.422. Jose Vega rode the sorrel son of High Rate Of Return for trainer Samuel Valdivia.

VF Jedi Returns was bred by Victory Farms, and he was a $9,700 purchase at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City. The gelding is out of Corona Couture, a winning and stakes-placed daughter of Corona Cartel and a finalist in two graded futurities at Los Alamitos in '06, including the Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1).

Campaigned exclusively in Oklahoma, VF Jedi Returns has won five of seven starts and has earned $91,749. He ran second in the April 21, 330-yard Remington Park Juvenile Stakes, and he was a finalist in the Grade 1, 350-yard Heritage Place Futurity on June 2.
