Ivory James Filly Tops Remington Training Races

JC Storm posted the fastest winning time from eight races on Wednesday.

JC Storm, a homebred daughter of Ivory James owned by Jose Cervantes of Mustang, Oklahoma, on Wednesday posted the fastest winning time from eight 250-yard training races at Remington Park.

Ridden by Alfredo Triana Jr. and aided by a reported 6-mph tail wind, JC Storm defeated Oklahoma Bandit by two lengths in :13.85. The 2-year-old filly is out of Oh Cherokee Rose, a stakes-winning daughter of champion Stoli who ran third in the 2007 Remington Park Futurity (G1).
