Gamepatriotdeluxe Headlines Laddie Futurity Trials at Delta Downs

A total of 134 state-bred colts and geldings has been entered in Saturday's 330-yard Louisiana Breeders' Laddie Futurity trials at Delta Downs.

Gamepatriotdeluxe, a graded stakes placed Game Patriot gelding owned by Ten For Ten LLC, is one of 134 state-bred 2-year-olds entered in Saturday’s 330-yard Louisiana Breeders’ Laddie Futurity (RG2) trials at Delta Downs.

Gamepatriotdeluxe will be making his first start since March 20, when the gelding ran second, 2 1/2 lengths behind winner Rdd Lajollanfastdash, in the 300-yard, $273,000 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) at Louisiana Downs. Gamepatriotdeluxe drew post 4 and will be ridden by Joe Badilla Jr. for trainer Michael Taylor in the ninth of 14 trials.

Badilla will also ride Dash To Intrigue for Ten For Ten LLC and trainer Taylor in the second heat. A brown son of Dashin Bye, the gelding is coming off of a 1 1/4-length victory as the 3-5 favorite in a 300-yard, $16,500 maiden special weight race at Louisiana Downs on March 23.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the in the $75,000-added Louisiana Breeders’ Laddie Futurity final on May 21.
