Fastest Qualifier Boxwineizfine Entered Back in West Texas Derby
The Separatist filly risks her win streak Sunday at Sunland Park.

Jose Luis Hernandez’s Boxwineizfine will put her three-race win streak on the line in Sunday’s 400-yard, $160,875 West Texas Derby (G3) at Sunland Park.
A sorrel filly by champion Separatist trained by Albert Franco, Boxwineizfine scored a clear 3 1/4-length victory as the 2-5 favorte in the fifth of six trials on April 17. Esgar Ramirez will ride Boxwineizfine from post 5.
Other contenders include BF Fooserageous, a daughter of champion Foose trained by Jason Giles for owner Birrell Farms LLC. A homebred filly and the third-fastest qualifier, BF Fooserageous has won six of her seven outs, including a pair of futurities in Utah last season, and she has banked $51,471.
BF Fooserageous will be ridden by Adrian Ramos from the rail post.
