Jessies First Down and Sam Crow are among the 10 sprinters entered in Saturday's 400-yard, $50,000 Mr Jet Moore Stakes (G3) at Ruidoso Downs.

A homebred 5-year-old son of champion Fdd Dynasty, Jessies First Down is trained by Judd Kearl for owner Teddy Abrams Sr. The gelding will be making his first start since May 7, when he scored a half-length win in the 440-yard, $50,000 Sam Houston Classic Stakes (G2) at Sam Houston Race Park.

Jessies First Down is winless in six outs at Ruidoso Downs and is 0-for-4 with four seconds at this 400-yard trip. The gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Cody Jensen.

Sam Crow races for Terry Baber from the barn of trainer Blane Wood. A gray 4-year-old Valiant Hero gelding, Sam Crow is coming off of a Remington Park spring campaign during which he ran second in three stakes, including the 400-yard, $100,000 Sooner State Stakes (RG1) for Oklahoma-breds on May 29.

The runner-up to Apollitical Blood in last year's 440-yard, $2,378,000 All American Derby (G1) at Ruidoso, Sam Crow drew the rail post and will be ridden by Ricky Ramirez.
