Yaneth Cabrera’s Klassic Strawfly, a 10-year-old son of Genuine Strawfly trained by Miguel Castillo, will put his five-race win streak on the line in Saturday’s 400-yard, $85,000 Jess Burner Memorial Handicap (RG1) for New Mexico-breds at Sunland Park.

The 3-1 morning-line favorite, Klassic Strawfly has earned $204,890 from seven outs this season, and his six wins include three stakes victories. Klassic Strawfly drew post 4 and will be ridden by Alejandro Medellin.

Other contenders include defending Jess Burner champion Osbaldo and Seeyalateralligator. Osbaldo is trained by Castillo for owner Hubaldo Solis of Peralta, New Mexico. A homebred 7-year-old stallion by Jesse James Jr, Osbaldo has banked $43,786 from six starts this year.

Bonifacio Quiroz will ride Osbaldo from the rail post.
