Flyin Rocks Headlines Rescheduled Baxter Andruss Futurity
The 400-yard stakes for Oregon-breds was originally scheduled for Sunday.

Ten Oregon-bred 2-year-olds, topped by fastest qualifier Flyin Rocks, have been entered back in Wednesday’s 400-yard, $26,550 Baxter Andruss Futurity (R) at Portland Meadows.
The Baxter Andruss Futurity was originally scheduled to be contested on Sunday, but it was moved to Wednesday when winter weather forced Portland Meadows to postpone it to Wednesday.
Trained by Jose Rosales for owner Gilberto Madrigal, Flyin Rocks is coming off of a neck victory in the second of two trials on November 27. The colt by the Fly Jess Fly stallion Fly Chisholm Fly drew post 9 and will be ridden by Osvaldo Gonzalez.
Hillary Durham’s L Bar D Genuine Red drew post 4 and will be ridden by Kassie Guglielmino. A son of Genuine Strawfly trained by Bob Beckner, the gelding has earned $25,309 from seven outs, and his three wins include a one-length victory as the odds-on favorite in the 350-yard, $32,000 Far West Futurity (R) on October 24.
