Billy Montgomery Stakes Draws Full Field

Joseph Landreneau’s Jet Black Zoomer is one of 10 state-bred 3-year-olds entered in Saturday’s $25,000 Billy Montgomery Stakes (R) at Louisiana Downs.

A gelded son of Jet Black Patriot trained by Kelli Smith, Jet Black Zoomer will be making his sophomore debut off of a half-length victory at odds of 30-1 in the 350-yard, $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile Stakes (RG2) at Fair Grounds on December 12. The gelding has earned $72,196 from eight outs.

Jet Black Zoomer drew post 6 and will be ridden by Antonio Alberto.
