Zoomin Effortlessly and 2014 world champion JRC Callas First are among the 12 aged runners entered in Saturday’s 440-yard, $250,000 Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1) at Remington Park.

A 5-year-old son of the Shazoom stallion Zoomin For Bux trained by R.L. “Rick” Robinson for owner Telesforo Perrett, Zoomin Effortlessly has won his last seven races, including six stakes. The gelding is coming off of a convincing 2 1/2-length victory as the even-money favorite in the 400-yard, $100,000 Leo Stakes (G1) at Remington on April 2.

Zoomin Effortlessly drew post 5 and will be ridden by Santos Carrizales.

JRC Callas First has won six of his last seven outs, with his only defeat during this period being a second-place finish, a neck behind Zoomin Effortlessly, in the 400-yard, $350,000 Championship at Sunland Park (G1) on January 3. Jerry Lee Yoakum will ride the 6-year-old Winners Award gelding from post 7 for owners Brian and Dana Stroud.

Moonin The Eagle, a 4-year-old One Famous Eagle stallion racing for Gregorio Garcia Garza, will be making his Remington Park debut in this race. Trained by Rolando Almanza, Moonin The Eagle won all three of his starts during the Hialeah Park winter campaign, including the 440-yard, $100,000 Sam Abbey Memorial Invitational Stakes on February 28.

Moonin The Eagle drew post 4 and will be ridden by Esgar Ramirez.
