Jim Walker's Zoomin For Spuds is one of seven sophomores entered in Friday's 350-yard, $15,000 Fullerton Overnight Handicap at Los Alamitos.

A homebred son of Zoomin For Bux trained by Bret Vickery, Zoomin For Spuds was a prompt 2-5 favorite in the February 12, 350-yard Costa Mesa Handicap at Los Alamitos. The gelding has earned $72,562 frm 11 starts, and his three wins include a neck victory in last year's $126,000 Wild West Futurity.

Zoomin For Bux is the 9-5 morning-line choice. The gelding drew post 4 and will be ridden by Cesar DeAlba. His six foes include Zendaya, a stakes-winning daughter of Foose trained by Ricardo Guillen for owner Clemente Hurtado. A $4,000 claim last October, the filly ended her freshman campaign with a victory in the 300-yard, $15,000 Long Beach Handicap.

Zendaya drew post 6 and will be ridden by Alejandro Luna.
