A 5-year-old stallion by Coronas Leaving You trained by Kevin Broussard for owner Joel Galindo, Scoopies Leaving You has won three of his four outs this season, all against stakes company. Scoopies Leaving You is coming off of a third-place finish, 2 1/4 lengths behind Open Me A Corona, in the 350-yard, $50,000 John Alleman Memorial Stakes (R) on April 22.
Scoopies Leaving You drew post 4 and will be ridden by Donald Watson. The stallion’s six opponents include Bennie and Teresa Jeter’s RC Me Leaving You, a 4-year-old son of Coronas Leaving You trained by Judd Kearl. RC Me Leaving You is coming off of a Sam Houston Race Park spring campaign during which he ran fifth, 3 1/4 lengths behind 2014 world champion JRC Callas First, in the 440-yard, $108,000 Bank of America Sam Houston Championship Challenge Stakes (G2) on April 16.
RC Me Leaving You drew post 3 and will be ridden by Noe Villatoro.
