Oak Hill Streak Headlines Inaugural Jerry Jaggars Memorial
The 4-year-old mare risks her win streak Saturday at Will Rogers Downs.

Oak Hill Streak, a three-time stakes winner in Louisiana this year, is one of 12 sprinters entered in Saturday’s 350-yard, $35,000 Jerry Jaggars Memorial Stakes at Will Rogers Downs.
Trained by John Stinebaugh for owner Vanessa Bartoo of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, Oak Hill Streak is a 4-year-old daughter of Heza Fast Dash. The mare will be making her first start since August 20, when she scored a three-quarter length victory in the 350-yard, $50,000 Audubon Stakes (R) for Louisiana-breds at Fair Grounds Racecourse in New Orleans.
Oak Hill Streak has won four of six races and has banked $99,200 this season. The mare drew post 4 and will be ridden by Gilbert Ortiz.
Dashin Brown Streak, a Grade 1-winning 6-year-old Hotdoggin gelding, will be dropping in class off of his fifth-place finish in the 440-yard, $75,000 Refrigerator Handicap (G1) at Lone Star Park on October 1. Dashin Brown Streak drew post 2 and will be ridden by Andrew Samaniego for owners Melvin Hatley and the Estate of C.W. Navarre and trainer John Brasseaux.
