A full field of 10 sophomores, including four from the barn of trainer Judd Kearl, has been entered back in Sunday's 440-yard, $2,415,084 All American Derby (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

Kearl will send out the two fastest qualifiers -- Bennie and Teresa Jeter's Volcom Bay and Enrique Carrion's EC Jet One -- as well as the fifth-fastest qualifier (First Fancy Racy) and sixth-fastest qualifier (Brave Heart Won). A daughter of the First Down Dash stallion Volcom and a $43,000 purchase at the 2014 Heritage Place Yearling Sale, Volcom Bay has won two of her three starts at the current Ruidoso meet and ran second as the fastest qualifier, 1 3/4 lengths behind champion Jess Good Candy, in the 400-yard, $1,069,000 Ruidoso Derby (G1) on June 11.

Volcom Bay drew post 6 and will be ridden by Jose Alvarez.

EC Jet One brings a five-race win streak into the All American Derby. A bay son of The Louisiana Cartel, EC Jet One made his Ruidoso debut with a one-length victory in the seventh of 15 All American Derby trials on August 21. Earlier this year, the colt won all four of his outs at Hialeah Park in Florida, including the 400-yard Hialeah Derby and 440-yard South Florida Derby in a dead heat with Carters Sixty Six.

Esgar Ramirez will ride EC Jet One from post 9. Other prominent 3-year-olds entered in the All American Derby include Darling Farms' One Fabulous Eagle, an earner of $576,680 from eight outs and the runner-up to Jess Good Candy in last year's 440-yard, $3-million All American Futurity (G1).

Trained by Eddie D. Willis, One Fabulous Eagle has won his last three outs, including the 440-yard, $100,000 Corona Cartel Stakes at Ruidoso on July 23. The 5-2 morning-line favorite, the colt drew post 3 and will be ridden by Cesar Gomez.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the December 10, $600,000 Champion of Champions (G1) at Los Alamitos. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments and morning-line odds:
Boogies Special Dash (Larry Payne), 9-2
A Fulton Classic (Jose Ortiz), 30-1
One Fabulous Eagle (Cesar Gomez), 5-2
Brave Heart Won (Joe Badilla Jr.), 10-1
