Valiant Rogue, a 4-year-old Valiant Hero gelding trained by Judd Kearl for owner Wyok Ranch LLC, will seek his second stakes win of the current Remington Park meet in Thursday’s 350-yard, $61,800 Mr Jet Moore Stakes (RG2).

Valiant Rogue will be stretching out in distance off of his nose victory as the 5-2 favorite in the 250-yard, $62,000 Mighty Deck Three Stakes (R) on March 12. The gelding has earned $632,902 from 14 outs, and his six wins include a 1 3/4-length score in last year’s 440-yard, $1,224,000 Rainbow Derby (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

Valiant Rogue drew post 3 and will be ridden by Rodrigo Vallejo. His seven opponents include Terry Baber’s Sam Crow, a 5-year-old son of Valiant Hero who ran a close second to Valiant Rogue in the Mighty Deck Three. Trained by Trey Wood, the gelding ran second, a half of a length behind champion AJs High, in last year’s Mr Jet Moore.

Sam Crow drew post 6 and will be ridden by Ricky Ramirez.
