A full field of 10 2-year-olds, headed by fastest qualifier Suenos Dineros, has been entered back in Saturday’s 300-yard, $230,132 West Texas Futurity (G2) at Sunland Park.

Suenos Dineros is trained by Shae Cox for owner Victor R. Lozano. A gelded son of the First Down Dash stallion Bodacious Dash, Suenos Dineros made his debut with a three-quarter length victory in the fourth of nine West Texas Futurity trials on March 24.

Eduardo J. Lugo’s Mountain Holme, the second-fastest qualifier, is the lone finalists with more than one previous out. A gray daughter of Gone To The Mountain trained by Jimmy Guerra Jr., the filly has banked $9,278 from two outs, and he is coming off of a nose victory in the first West Texas Futurity trial.

Mountain Holme was acquired by Lugo for $4,400 at last year’s Texas QHA Yearling Sale in San Antonio. The filly drew post 10 and will be ridden by Ruben Calderon.
