Jessies First Down, a homebred son of Fdd Dynasty and the sport's reigning world champion, will make his next start in Saturday's 400-yard, $50,000 Mr Jet Moore Stakes (G2) at Ruidoso Downs.

Jessies First Down will be shortening in distance off of his second-place finish, a head behind Zoomin Effortlessly, in the 440-yard, $250,000 Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1) on June 3. The 6-year-old gelding has earned $99,927 from three outs this season, and his two wins include a neck victory as the odds-on favorite in the 440-yard, $103,000 Bank of America Sam Houston Challenge Championship (G2) in April.

Rodrigo Vallejo will ride Jessies First Down for trainer Judd Kearl from post 10. The gelding's nine opponents include Valeriano Racing Stables' Sam Crow, a 5-year-old Valiant Hero gelding will go surpass the $1-million mark in earnings with a win in the Mr Jet Moore. Trained by Trey Wood, Sam Crow was a stakes winner during the Remington Park spring meet, as the gelding scored a three-quarter length win in the 350-yard, $61,800 Mr Jet Moore Stakes (R) for Oklahoma-breds on April 6.

Sam Crow drew post 4 and will be ridden by Ricky Ramirez.
