Politically Corrupt Headlines Delta's Miss Polly Classic

Politically Corrupt, a 4-year-old Apollitical Jess gelding owned by Double H Racing Investments LLC, drew post 7 for Saturday’s 400-yard, $50,000 Miss Polly Classic Stakes (G3) at Delta Downs.

Politically Corrupt will be shortening in distance off of his neck victory in the 440-yard, $50,000 Sam Houston Classic Stakes (G2) on May 13. Cipriano Vidana will ride the gelding for trainer Jose Sanchez.

Brave Heart Won, a 4-year-old son of Apollitical Jess owned by Dwayne Saucier and trainer Michael Taylor, drew post 5 and will be ridden by John Hamilton. The gelding will be making his second start of the season, off of a sophomore campaign during which he ran third in both the 440-yard, $2.415-million All American Derby (G1) at Ruidoso Downs, and 440-yard, $363,000 Texas Classic Derby (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.
