Johnny Trotter's Bodacious Eagle, a 5-year-old son of One Famous Eagle and the third-ranked horse on the AQHA Racing National Poll, is one of 10 aged sprinters entered in Saturday's 350-yard, $50,000 Higheasterjet Handicap (G3) at Ruidoso Downs.

Bodacious Eagle is coming off of a Remington Park spring campaign during which he won the 350-yard, $50,000 Eastex Stakes (G2) on March 12, and the 400-yard, $100,000 Leo Stakes (G1) on April 1. The gelding drew post 10 and will be ridden by Ricky Ramirez for trainer Trey Wood.

Judd Kearl, the reigning AQHA champion trainer, will send out 5-2 morning-line favorite Valiant Rogue for owner Wyok Ranch LLC. A 4-year-old Valiant Hero gelding, Valiant Rogue has won six of 17 races and has earned $662,562, and his three wins in six outs at Ruidoso Downs include a 1 3/4-length victory as the fastest qualifier in last year's 440-yard, $1.224-million Rainbow Derby (G1).

Valiant Rogue drew post 6 and will be ridden by Rodrigo Vallejo.
