Tlc Dale Returns in Grade 2, 440-yard Sam Houston Classic

The homebred gelding draws post 10.

Rogelio Garza Guajardo’s TLC Dale, a homebred 4-year-old gelding by The Louisiana Cartel, drew post 10 for Saturday’s 440-yard, $50,000 Sam Houston Classic Stakes (G2) at Sam Houston Race Park

TLC Dale is coming off of a second-place finish, a neck behind reigning world champion Jessies First Down, in the 440-yard, $103,000 Bank of America Texas Challenge Championship (G2) on April 22. Raul Ramirez Jr. will ride the gelding for trainer Eusevio Huitron.

Rc Me Leaving You, a 5-year-old Coronas Leaving You stallion trained by Judd Kearl for owners Bennie and Teresa Jeter, will make his season debut from post 5. Rc Me Leaving You ended his 2016 campaign with a pair of stakes wins against Texas-breds at Lone Star Park.

Noe Villatoro will ride Rc Me Leaving You.
