RC Me Leaving You, a 5-year-old stallion by Coronas Leaving You and a two-time stakes winner at Lone Star Park last season, drew the rail post for Saturday’s 350-yard, $20,000 Nevill Stakes (R) at Lone Star Park.

Trained by Jimmy Padgett for owners Bennie and Terri Jeter, RC Me Leaving You has earned $11,260 from three starts this year, and his season resume includes a third-place finish, one length behind winner Politically Corrupt, in the 440-yard, $50,000 Sam Houston Classic Stakes (G2) on May 13. The 9-5 morning-line favorite, the stallion will be ridden by Rodrigo Vallejo.

Pete Scarmardo’s Dash Dont Cheat drew post 7 and will be ridden by Francisco Calderon for trainer Leon Bard. A homebred 4-year-old son of Down N Dash, the gelding will be stretching out in distance off of his half-length victory in the July 28, $30,000 TQHA 250 Stakes (R) at Retama Park.
