Dees Jetting Diva Risks Perfect Mark in Gillespie County Fair Futurity

The 350-yard, $154,300 stakes headlines the track's Sunday program.

Sunday's Gillespie County Fair Futurity has drawn a full field of 10 2-year-olds.

Dees Jetting Diva, an undefeated daughter of Jet Black Patriot and the second-fastest qualifier, will put her undefeated record on the line in Sunday’s 350-yard, $154,300 Gillespie County Fair Futurity.

Trained by Jose Luis Sanchez III for owner Whitetail Weld LLC, Dees Jetting Diva has won all three of her starts, including the 330-yard, $112,000 Old South Futurity at Delta Downs in May, and she has earned $60,953. The filly drew post 4 and will be ridden by Eddie Sanchez.

All Sophia Wanted, a graded stakes placed gray daughter of Five Bar Cartel trained by Michael D. Chavez for owner Sunset Well Service Inc. of Odessa, Texas, drew the rail post and will be ridden by Jose Montoya. All Sophia Wanted has banked $55,935 from four outs in New Mexico and Texas, and her record includes a second-place finish, a neck behind Suze Returns, in the April 14, 300-yard West Texas Futurity (G2) at Sunland Park.
