A field of seven distance specialists, headed by morning-line favorite Im Mighty Fast, has been entered in Saturday's 870-yard, $15,000 Marathon Stakes at Louisiana Downs.

Trained by Jesus Garrido for owner Triple C Racing Stables LLC, Im Mighty Fast will be making his 5-year-old season debut from post 2. The gelded son of Mighty Corona has won 12 of his 33 starts, including 11 of 22 at the 870 distance.

"He's a very sound horse, and he has a big heart," said Garrido of Im Mighty Fast. "I like the 2, 3, or 4 hole, and he drew post 2. With a clean break, I believe he will win another stakes race.

Other contenders include Kevin Nobles' Streak Of Music, a gray 7-year-old son of Miracle Streak trained by Ray Robbins. Streak Of Music won two of his three outs during the Evangeline Downs fall meet, both at the 870 distance.

Streak Of Music drew post 6 and will be ridden by Donell Blake.

Big Boy Agouti (Jose Ariel Rodriguez), 8-1
a-Im Mighty Fast (Randy Edison), 1-1
Agoutis Snowplow (Juan D. Marquez), 6-1
