Recent allowance winner Maggie Durant and Grade 1 finalist Renewed are among the eight sprinters entered in Friday's 100-yard, $15,000 Blink Of An Eye Overnight Handicap at Los Alamitos.

Friday will mark the only night of live racing at Los Alamitos this week. The track will be dark on Saturday and Sunday.

Maggie Durant is a homebred 5-year-old daughter of One Sweet Jess owned by Spackman Racing and trainer Lin Melton. The mare ended her 2017 campaign with a head victory in a 100-yard, $12,000 open-condition allowance dash at Los Alamitos on December 15.

Maggie Durant drew post 5 and will be ridden by Eduardo Nicasio.

Renewed is trained by Roberto Dominguez for owner Kolleen Ledgerwood. A 4-year-old son of Walk Thru Fire, the stallion is coming off of a sophomore campaign during which he qualified to four graded derbies, including the November 12, $956,000 Los Alamitos Super Derby (G1).

Renewed will be making his first-ever start at the 100-yard trip. He drew post 2 and will be ridden by Jonathan Roman.
