RC Me Leaving You, a multiple stakes winning 6-year-old son of Coronas Leaving You racing for Bennie and Teresa Jeter, drew the rail post for Saturday’s 350-yard, $15,000 Live Oak Handicap (R) for Texas-breds at Retama Park.
Trained by Jimmy Padgett, RC Me Leaving You will be making his first start since May 12, when the stallion ran fourth, 1 1/4 lengths behind winner Eye N Capo, in the 440-yard, $50,000 Sam Houston Classic Stakes (G2) at Sam Houston Race Park. RC Me Leaving You will be ridden by Noe Villatoro.

Fulton Quien Sabe Ranches’ He Is The Risingstar is coming off of a wire-to-wire, 2 1/2-length victory in a 550-yard allowance race at Los Alamitos on February 23. A winner of six of his nine starts at the distance, the 6-year-old Mr Jess Perry gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Jerry Lee Yoakum for trainer L.R. “Tooter” Jordan.
