Bodacious Eagle Draws Rail Post for $50,000 Mr Jet Moore
The 6-year-old gelding returns in Saturday's feature at Ruidoso Downs.

Bodacious Eagle, a 6-year-old One Famous Eagle gelding owned by Johnny Trotter of Hereford, Texas, drew the rail post for Saturday's 400-yard, $50,000 Mr Jet Moore Handicap (G2) at Ruidoso Downs.
Bodacious Eagle will be making his first start since June 2, when the gelding ran third, two lengths behind winner and two-time reigning world champion Jessies First Down, in the 440-yard, $250,000 Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1). An earner of $874,036 from 28 starts, the gelding has won six of 13 races and has banked $390,892 at Ruidoso Downs, including last year's 350-yard, $50,000 Higheasterjet Handicap (G3).
Bodacious Eagle will be ridden by Cody Jensen for trainer Mike Joiner. His nine opponents include Myst Fit, the winner of this year's Higheasterjet Handicap, which was run on June 30. The gray son of champion Separatist drew post 2 and will be ridden by Raul Ramirez Jr. for ownerrs Newman Cattle Co. and Bobby Simmons and trainer Blane Wood.
