A Political Lady, a homebred Apollitical Jess filly owned by Parsons Ranch, will put her five-race win streak on the line against six opponents in Sunday's 400-yard, $25,000 Vandy's Flash Handicap for 3-year-olds at Los Alamitos.

Trained by Chris O'Dell, A Political Lady has won six of 13 starts and has earned $237,953 while racing exclusively in California. The filly's win streak includes a 1 1/4-length victory in the 400-yard, $184,000 La Primera del Ano Derby (G3) on March 30.

A Political Lady has been made the 8-5 morning-line favorite by Los Alamitos linemaker Ed Burgart. The filly drew post 6 and will be ridden by Eduardo Nicasio.
