A total of 16 state-bred 3-year-olds, topped by stakes winner LF Curly, has been entered in Saturday’s 350-yard Harley Greene Derby (R) trials at Indiana Grand.

Trained by Matt Frazier for owner Dan Frazier, LF Curly is a homebred daughter of the Corona Cartel stallion One Famous Versace. The filly has earned $110,560 from five outs, and her juvenile resume included an upset victory in last year’s 350-yard, $188,000 Miss Roxie Little Futurity (R).

LF Curly drew post 5 and will be ridden by Shanley Jackson in the first of two trials.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the $75,000-added Harley Greene Derby final on June 2.
