Dauns First Desirio Headlines Arapahoe’s Dash For Speed Stakes

The graded stakes winner is one of six sprinters entered in the track's Sunday feature.

Dauns First Desirio, a graded stakes winning son of Desirio owned by Rogelio Carbajal-Santos, heads a field of six in Sunday’s 330-yard, $15,000 Dash For Speed Stakes at Arapahoe Park.

Dauns First Desirio has earned $133,038 from 14 starts, and his five wins include a head victory as the even-money favorite in the 400-yard, $180,000 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G3) at Prairie Meadows on October 14. The Texas-bred bay gelding drew post 4 and will be ridden by Daniel Valles.
