Eight Sophomores Entered in Town Policy

On Our Way is the morning-line choice in Los Alamitos' Saturday feature

Eight 3-year-olds are entered in Saturday's Town Policy Stakes at Los Alamitos.

On Our Way, a bay daughter of One Sweet Jess owned by Lazy Creek Ranch and Jerry McAlevey, is one of eight 3-year-olds entered in Saturday's 400-yard,, $25,000 Town Policy Stakes at Los Alamitos.

Trained by Jose Flores, On Our Way is coming off of a ninth-place finish in the 400-yard, $152,000 PCQHRA Breeders' Derby (G3) on October 5. The filly has won three of 12 starts and has earned $67,159, and she was a finalist in last year's Grade 1, 400-yard Los Alamitos Two-Million Futurity.

On Our Way drew post 7 and will be ridden by Cruz Mendez.

The Town Policy Stakes honors the memory of Town Policy, the sport's champion 2-year-old in 1977 and member of the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments and morning-line odds:
