Apollitical Scout, a 4-year-old daughter of world champion Apollitical Jess owned by Paragon Farms LLC, will put her three-race win streak on the line in Saturday’s 440-yard, $75,000 Refrigerator Stakes (G1) at Lone Star Park.

Apollitical Scout’s current streak includes a neck victory in the 400-yard, $100,000 Junos Request Stakes (G2) at Remington Park on June 2, and a clear two-length score in the 400-yard, $50,000 Balloon City Stakes at Albuquerque Downs on September 9. The mare drew post 6 and will be ridden by Jose Alvarez for trainer Jimmy Padgett.

Other contenders include Shannon “Stormy” Fisher’s SF Hot Pass, a 5-year-old son of Ivory James trained by Leon Bard. SF Hot Pass will be stretching out in distance off of his neck victory in the 350-yard, $20,000 Nevill Stakes (R) for Texas-breds at Lone Star Park on September 29.

SF Hot Pass drew post 3 and will be ridden by Francisco Calderon.
