Zoetis AQHA Best Remuda

The Bartlett Ranch is the 2016 Zoetis Best Remuda winner.

Bartlett Ranch has been producing quality horses for more than 50 years, and in 2016 was chosen to receive the Zoetis AQHA Best Remuda Award.

The Bartlett Ranch is owned by Dr. H.B. “Woody” Bartlett, and comprises three ranches – 4,000 acres at the headquarters in Pikes Road, Alabama; 1,100 acres near Brock, Texas, home base to the Bartlett cutting horse operation; and the 10-mile by 40-mile range northeast of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The horses that wear the Flying B have been proven in the cutting, roping, barrel racing, rodeo and show arenas, as well as on the ranch.

It’s nearly impossible to get Dr. Bartlett to brag, but he is admittedly proud of his herd. He says the Best Remuda Award is the highest achievement – more prestigious than any of the titles his horses have won in arena competition. He’s dedicated his life to improving the quality of the horses he produces, and he insists it’s still a work in progress.
