The 15-year-old gelding Little Tee J Paul earned the Top Horse award at the Working Ranch Cowboys Association Santa Fe Trail Ranch Rodeo, held in Council Grove, Kansas on July 7-8.
The gelding was ridden by Cody Kendall of Beachner Bros. Livestock.
He is owned by Calvin and Gina Kendall of Erie, Kansas, and was bred by Don Dillinger of Saint Paul, Kansas. Little Tee J Paul was sired by Tee J Bandito Finger and out of the Roll On Bar Money mare Peachy Little Susie.
The horse is a longtime veteran of WRCA Ranch Rodeos, and last year was the top horse at the Loveland, Colorado, rodeo.
Buford Ranch – Craig Co. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was the winning team at the rodeo.
The Working Ranch Cowboys Association hosts ranch rodeos across the West culminating in the World Championship Ranch Rodeo, which is November 10-13 in Amarillo. The WRCA works to showcases the skills of the working ranch cowboy and to raises money funds for the WRCA Foundation, which provides scholarship assistance and crisis assistance to working ranch cowboys and their immediate family.
