National Cattlemen's Beef Association, Cattlemen's College begin January 29.

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association hosts its annual convention and Cattlemen’s College in New Orleans on January 29 through February 1 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.

The association’s meetings and hall of fame reception and banquet kick off the festivities on January 29. The next day’s opening general session includes guest speaker Terry Bradshaw.

The Cattlemen’s College begins January 30, and offers a world-class opportunity for continuing education. The sessions include classroom and demonstration sessions over two days.

Other highlights include an extensive trade show, a concert featuring Big & Rich, and industry parties.

The 2018 Zoetis AQHA Best Remuda Award Winner Wagonhound Land & Livestock of Douglas, Wyoming, will also be recognized during the convention.

Wagonhound encompasses more than 235,000 acres, where owners Catherine and Art Nicholas raise nearly 5,000 head of Red Angus cattle and feed almost 7,500 head of cattle in their feedlot, and raise the quality American Quarter Horses needed to operate the ranch.
