Join the American Quarter Horse Association for an exciting evening at 6 p.m. on November 3 at the 2018 Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City.

Watch as young guns Cory Solomon and Timber Moore go head-to-head to compete for $10,000 in prize money. Legends Blair Burk and Fred Whitfield will also compete in a match roping to see who will take home $7,500. The winner of the young guns round and the winner of the legends round will then compete against each other for the top overall title of the match roping and will win an additional $1,000.

Throughout the performance, rodeo performer J.J. Harrison, who has entertained rodeo fans from coast to coast, will bring plenty of smiles and laughs for everyone.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to watch as the fiercest athletes around climb aboard their mounts for a chance to win the Lucas Oil World Mutton Bustin’ champion belt buckle. Six seconds is all that stands between these youth and the title of mutton bustin’ champion. The mutton bustin’ is sponsored by Dr. Rebekah Hartfield, who is also the author of “Pistol the Horse.” Learn more details about how to be one of the 30 kids competing for this title.

The fun starts early at the Bennett Event Center where Cory, Timber, Blair and Fred, along with rodeo clown J.J. Harrison, will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans from 3 to 5 p.m. Dr. Rebekah Hartfield will also be there signing copies of “Pistol the Horse.”

This will be a fun, action-packed event for the whole family that you won’t want to miss. Tickets are only $10 and are available at State Fair Park. Kids 5 and under will get in free!

Lucas Oil World attendees must purchase a ticket for this event, as it will not be included with the purchase of a show badge.
