Share the news of your success at the 2017 Ford Youth World.

Spread the news of your success at the 2017 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show. Your spotlight doesn't end once your name has been called. Use these four tips to shine outside the arena, too.

1. Share your achievements with your community via a hometown press release.

AQHA offers an easy way to share your achievements with your hometown newspaper. Exhibitors or guardians, simply choose a press release template from the Media Resources section of www.aqha.com/youthworld. Complete the easy-to-fill-out release, and send it electronically to your local newspaper to ensure that your achievements are highlighted for your community to see.

AQHA press release templates have everything your newspaper needs to get started in telling your story.

AQHA will send press releases and photos to the hometown newspapers of each world champion. Exhibitors and contestants are encouraged to send releases for all other achievements, in and out of the Ford Youth World arena.

Qualifying for and participating in the Ford Youth World are major accomplishments. AQHA hopes you’ll take every opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments during your Ford Youth World journey.

2. Get social.

  • Share your #FordYouthWorld experiences and tell your story from the Ford Youth World.
  • Connect with us on Snapchat (@officialaqha), Instagram (@officialaqhya), YouTubePinterestTwitter (@aqhya) and Facebook.
  • During the week, don’t forget to use the hashtags #FordYouthWorld and #GetThatGlobe.
  • Share your Snapchats with the Built Ford Tough Geofilters. Add us on Snapchat (@officialaqha)!

3. Tell us about you!

We want to know about our exhibitors and their horses, so stop by the Media Office and complete a bio form so we can share your story with the world. Be sure to have the bio form completed at least three hours before your finals. There are several media groups at the Ford Youth World, including The American Quarter Horse Journal. Get caught in the crosshairs of a Journal photographer! Our staff will be posting photos and coverage at www.aqha.com/youthworld.

4. Relive the win.

Are you a world champion? What a great accomplishment! We want you to be proud and show how your hard work and dedication paid off, so share your world championship video from www.aqha.com/youthworld or via the AQHA Video YouTube channel.

Exhibitors can purchase videos of their performances from the show’s official videographer, Equine Promotion, as well as photos from official show photographer K.C. Montgomery. We’re proud of everyone who achieved the great accomplishment of making it to the Ford Youth World, so we hope to see your videos and photos on social media!
