Rogelio Marquez Jr.'s San Lorenzo Dash and Juan M. Montoya's Jess Dash Fast are two of 10 state-bred distaffers entered in Friday's 330-yard, $25,000 Billy Montgomery Stakes (R) at Louisiana Downs.

San Lorenzo Dash is a homebred daughter of Heza Fast Dash who made her 4-year-old season debut with a neck victory in a 220-yard, $10,000 open-condition allowance sprint at Louisiana Downs on February 16. The sorrel mare has earned $104,014 from 16 races, all in Louisiana.

San Lorenzo Dash drew post 4 and will be ridden by Rolando Cabrera for trainer Jesus M. Marquez.

Jess Dash Fast is a 4-year-old daughter of Heza Fast Dash trained by Roberto Madrigal. The runner-up to San Lorenzo Dash in the February 16 allowance dash, the mare has banked $137,342 from 11 outs, and she ended her sophomore campaign with a half-length victory in the December 17, 250-yard Scoopies Leaving You Stakes (R) at Evangeline Downs.

Jess Dash Fast drew post 6 and will be ridden by Jorge J. Garcia.
