Sixty-six 2-year-olds, led by graded stakes winner Reletless Politics, are entered in Friday's 350-yard TQHA Sires' Cup Futurity (RG2) at Retama Park Racetrack near San Antonio.

A homebred son of the Apollitical Jess stallion Chilitos racing for Javier Garza and Marco X. Ramirez, Reletless Politics is coming off of a half-length victory in the 350-yard, $303,000 Firecracker Futurity (G2) at Delta Downs on July 6. The sorrel gelding has won two of his four races and has earned $157,560.

Reletless Politics drew post 3 and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. in the fourth of seven trials.

Diaz will send out a total of four TQHA Sires' Cup Futurity hopefuls, including CH Horse Racing's Machiavelli. A $51,000 purchase at last year's Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale in New Mexico, the Tempting Dash colt will be making his first official start since June 15, when he ran third, three-quarters of a length behind winner DK Mamey Jess, in the 330-yard, $622,000 Sam Houston Futurity (G2) at Sam Houston Race Park.

Machiavelli drew post 7 and will be ridden by Nestor Duran in the sixth heat.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Friday's trials will meet in the August 17, $75,000-added final.
